Patrick Gallagher: Founder of The D League, Co-Host of The D League show, and big idea guy

Born over top of an Italian Deli in the heart of South Philadelphia, this Irishman grew up over the Walt Whitman Bridge in South Jersey. Yes, I root for all of my Philly teams: Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, 76ers, Temple, Villanova, St. Joe’s, Union, and a few more. However, even though I’m a diehard Philly sports fan, that doesn’t mean I threw snowballs at Santa, cheered when Michael Irvin blew out both of his knees, or sent death threats to Mitch Williams after the ’93 World Series. I pride myself on being a little more sensible than the normal Philly sports fan.

During college, I started DJ’ing at my college radio station, WDBK at Camden County College, and fell in love with the broadcasting profession. Initially, they gave me a sports talk show with this robot co-host. It went well. But then I discovered my deep rooted passion for music and switched over to a Top 40 show. Plus, I noticed that the music DJ’s were getting more chicks than the sports geeks!

After college, I worked in radio in some amazing cities such as my hometown of Philadelphia at Q102, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, and most recently, Phoenix. By living in the various all areas of the country, I believe I've felt the pulse of the local sports fan and can relate to their frustrations and joy every Wednesday night during The D League Show.

During my down time, I love to spend time with my daughter, play & watch sports, workout, and spend time with family and friends. (He also enjoys long walks on the beach, but there are no beaches in Phoenix)

Jack Bevenour: The D League Show's co-host, head of the bloggers, and professional beer drinker.

I was born and grew up in the Northeast section of the great city of Philadelphia. I was the youngest of 3 children and was my father's last chance at passing on his passion for all things sports. At an early age, I fell in love with all things related to Philly sports.

As a freshman in high school, I was traded with Charles Barkley to Phoenix (<---no truth to this) for three crappy players. I now reside in Phoenix with my wife and son. I'm currently attempting to pass the passion for sports I gained from my father to my young son.

I have a thirst for sports knowledge and the ability to see the fun side of the sports world. I may never be called a stats geek, but I will be the first one to call them out.
